CNF Night in Canada: A WordsThaw 2014 Prequel Event

In preparation for WordsThaw 2014, our second annual writing symposium, The Malahat Review is hosting a special prequel event at Russell Books in downtown Victoria. The evening's featured readers include Maleea Acker, Jay Ruzesky, and Madeline Sonik, and all three will be reading from recent works of creative nonfiction. Each author's collection of stories will be available for purchase at the event.

This week's featured readers at Planet Earth Poetry include Melanie Siebert and Laurie D. Graham. Siebert's first book, Deepwater Vee (M&S), was a finalist for Canada's Governor General's Literary Award for poetry; Graham is an editor for Brick magazine, and a regular reviewer for The Malahat Review and The Fiddlehead.
