There's still time to enter this year's contest!

Happy Halloween! This is definitely more treat than trick: we've extended the deadline until November 6 for the Open Season Awards. That's five extra days to finish up your best poetry, fiction, and/or creative nonfiction.

In addition to the $4,500 prize, we're offering a special collection of book prizes to one lucky entrant. All you have to do is enter, and you'll be considered for a fantastic bundle of books from Canadian publishers:

Into the Current by Jared Young (Goose Lane Editions, 2016)

Ten Canadian Writers in Context, ed. Marie Carrière, Curtis Gillespie, Jason Purcell (University of Alberta Press, 2016)

Late Victorians by Vincent Colistro (Signal Editions, 2016)

Buoyancy Control by Adrienne Gruber (BookThug, 2016)

Model Discipline by Michael Prior (Signal Editions, 2016)

Kids in Triage by Kilby Smith-McGregor (Buckrider Books, 2016)
